It's very quiet in the office today. Darn near everybody else has gone to help out at the annual senior citizen's dinner that the Sheriff throws this time of year. I was resigned to going until yesterday when my Lieutenant asked me if I wanted to go. I did not realize that not going was an option, so I told him I wasn't really keen on going. Besides, I doubt that all those people want me hacking and coughing all over them.

So it's bronchitis and I have drugs now. Gotta love drugs. I am taking the one antibiotic that I am not allergic to that is also safe to take while breastfeeding.

On the writing front, I now have stories out to Asimov's, F&SF, and SCIFICTION.COM. Of course my deepest fantasy would be to score a trifecta and sell to all three at once.
