Hyperkid

I'm totally behind on all my christmas shopping/planning now, thanks to Precious Babykins. She continues to not act sick, but I'm still not comfortable with taking her out. I'm still working on getting Jack's present. I'm kinda taking a gamble on him liking what I'm giving him--he's definitely going to be surprised, I'm fairly certain.

Jack bought me the extended version of Return of the King this week. I had told him last year that I wanted the boxed set of the extended version of all three movies for christmas this year, but it seems that the powers that be are not going to be releasing a boxed set this year. So Jack bought me the ROTK and for some reason decided to give it to me this week instead of for christmas, which kinda baffles me and worries me as now I am wondering what he plans on getting me for christmas.

Anyway, my friend Kat came over and we watched the movie, and we both agreed that there were two scenes that needed to be left out of the movie, at least one that SHOULD have been in the movie as it explained a great deal, a few other scenes that would have been nice to have in the movie to help in overall explanation (e.g So THAT'S why Eowyn and Faramir are so cozy at the end!) and plenty of other scenes that were just nice additions.

And right now I have the most hyper baby in the world bouncing on her father and happily screeching at the top of her lungs. Oh yeah, this kid sure acts sick. Yes, her bedtime was two hours ago. Mine was an hour ago! I've tried explaining to her that mommy is an exhausted wretch, but she doesn't seem to sympathize. Rotten child.
