End of year

I'm not a big "celebrate the New Year" kind of person, so when my sister called and asked if I want to go to a movie with her tonight, I gladly agreed. She was dropping her daughter off at a party that was running from 6-10, so we planned to meet at the theater for the movie that started at 6:45. I got there about 6:15 to buy the tickets. At 6:25 she called me to say that she would be there in about 4 minutes. So I waited. And waited. At 6:48 she arrived.. and told me that she would have been there on time if she hadn't got onto the interstate to head back to Slidell..LOL

But we made it before the previews ended and saw Meet The Fockers. I wasn't a huge fan of the first one, but this one is totally hysterical. Sherry and I laughed our asses off pretty much through the whole thing.

So, I hadn't planned on doing a year-end summary type of thing. But what the hell:

I was pregnant.
I stayed pregnant until April 26, 2004 7:25am.
At 7:26 am I became unpregnant.
At 7:31 am I saw her for the first time and fell head over heels in love.
For the next several weeks I got very little sleep and had very sore nipples.
For the next several months I got not much sleep and my nipples toughened up.
I got sick of pumping.
I kept doing it anyway.
I started writing again.
I even sent some of the shit out.
Managed to get stories to each of the major SF/F markets.
Got one of them rejected before the end of the year.

Well, I think that covers it. Happy New Year, y'all.
