On Tuesday, at the Wordos, Jay Lake told me my story is in limbo, neither rejected nor accepted. Sounds like they are closing in on finalizing the TOC. There were some sales announced at the group, but I'm not allowed to say who. I'm giving the official TOC announcement to Jay and Deb.

Sounds like I'm close to getting in. Actually, just as close to being rejected. It makes me think about my lackadaisical approach to keeping stories out in the mail. I have more potential for sales if I keep them all out there. I'm already thinking about where to send Pieces Of Us From The Earth if is rejected from Polyphony. And I'm making a list of where to send the stories languishing on my desk.
