So far I have written 29,940 words on the Pocket novel. All since late November with some work lags between then and now. So far I've had a huge wordcount day--3000 words on Thursday. I need to be consistent with that. And right now I've reached another hump. It might be the mid-way hump, but I think I'm at the point where I have to dig deeper into the novel to come up with answers, like characters' backstories, and figure out the motivations of some secondary characters and their relations to primary ones. It's a moment of truth in the novel and I gotta know where's it going.

Oh, the discovery of a novel. Exciting and frustrating. I do know this novel seems a lot cleaner and clearer than the first one I wrote.
