Got it!

That was quick.

On Monday morning, as soon as Keystone Properties in Springfield opened their doors, I was there with our apartment applications. We were indeed the first applicants for that place. I was told the screening could take from three to seven days.

Before noon on Tuesday I got the phone call that the place was ours. After we sign the lease and such on Friday, of course.

So this is exciting. I'll miss this place and the very cheap rent, but a change of scenery would be great. I love that end of town. I can walk to workshop at Tsunami and I can stagger home drunk from Turtles post-workshop. It will be grand.

We'll be moving this weekend. Since the new place is ours and we don't need thirty day notice to move, we might as well get it over with. Plus, we don't have to worry about Feb rent at the old place if we get out by then.

I've already put out a call for moving help. I even offered pizza and beer at the end of the move.

I got a few hundred words down today. But I can do better!
