I Have Achieved Tie-dye

After nearly twelve years since moving to Eugene, I now own a tie-dye shirt. It's about damn time. I've said for the longest time, "I should get some tie-dye."

X and I headed down to the Saturday Market on this beautiful sunful day. There are many merchants that sell tie-die and I didn't have the goal of buying a shirt, but I seized the moment when it arrived. It's a green shirt with the groovy tie-die colors in an inverted triangle, the wide part at the shoulders and narrowing towards the bottom front (and back) of the shirt. X tells me the green brings out the green in my eyes. And the blue compliments my eyes. And you get the picture. It's tie-dye. It looks good on me. And I think X likes it too.

I will wear it with pride.

Other sights at the Saturday Market include some pot-bellied, scruffy guy walking around wearing what looked like a loincloth or a cloth diaper. His butt cheeks were hanging right out of those.

We saw a couple of funny bumper stickers. "Bush. Like a rock. Only dumber." And our favorite: "Republicans For Voldemort."

We finished the afternoon with ice cream at Prince Pucklers.

Lovely day. Now I need to do some writing.
