Planning

So I have pain in my shoulder and neck on the left side. I don't know whether I pulled something or if it's a pinched nerve. I don't have any tingling in fingers, but I the neck is sore and stiff when when I turn my head. Rest and ibuprofen is helping some. The cause might be from working out on Monday, although I didn't do anything different. Then I didn't start having any pain until Tuesday night--and it was more sore than painful. Wednesday there was no pain until I started to workout in the afternoon. It wasn't painful enough for me to stop working out--and it probably wasn't the smartest move to finish.

The pain is still with me and it I'm definitely not going to workout on Friday. I'll give this some healing time.

In other news, I got my page proofs for Strange New Worlds 10--boy, the publishing machine known as Pocket Books is just cranking along. I was pleased about how few copy-edited marks were on my manuscript. Or maybe I should be alarmed that they didn't catch more. I say this only because my critiqued manuscripts are usually marked up heavily on the line by line. Maybe I can safely say I've learned a few things about clarity in the manuscript. Finally!

And look out, Ximena and I have a wedding planner. This I think is a good thing because I don't know the first thing about doing a wedding, nor what I want my wedding to look like, so having someone to guide us is fantastic. Our wedding isn't going to be your traditonal kind. If everthing comes together, it's going to include dandelions, train tracks, a drain pipe, tango, and let's not forget the silent movie. Stay tuned.
