Chattering Head Monkeys

I've had a case of chattering head monkeys about my novel for a week now and I've slowed way down. This shoulder pain didn't help much either as I've used that as an excuse not to work hard.

I'm picking away at the novel, however. I'm getting excited about stuff which is always good, plus I'm getting excited about writing a short story, too.

Chattering Head Monkeys are those negative "I can't do this!" voices you hear when you're writing. Thanks to Ken Scholes for giving a great name to those voices. They're really funny once you recognize them as obnoxious monkeys laughing high in the trees. All very harmless, really, as long as they don't start flinging their dung at you.
