Two more hours until my weekend starts. Woo-hoo!

The powers that be decided that our department, Human resources, would be closed tomorrow as well as Monday for the Memorial Day holiday. They're getting no argument from me - a four-day weekend is just what I need to catch up on some much-needed sleep, and just relax before starting my third 4-day work week in a row (took last Friday off for Jen's graduation).

A guy could get used to this.

Today's been a bit hectic, though, since I'm essentially trying to get all the work done that I normally would have spaced out over today and tomorrow, as well as some of Monday's to boot. I guess I'm anal-retentive that way - if I've got work outstanding, it bugs me over the weeknd, and ruins what should be a couple of relaxing days off.

Haven't seen the new "Matrix" movie yet - Jen and I may try to cram that in this evening, maybe up at Universal. Either that, or "Identity" - another one of those flicks that came out a while ago, that we haven't gotten around to seeing yet. I'm firmly of the opinion, though, that even with all the Tom Cruises and Harrison Fords and Tom Hanks (Hankses?) that are out there, who are the big-name, big-draw, big-paycheck marquee "stars", nine times out of ten I'd rather go see a movie with John Cusack in it.

Back to work. Yay.
