The weather remained stable with overcast all day, allowing good visits to Scarborough Castle, Witby Abbey, and Picktering Castle, plus an unsuccessful search for a bit of Roman road on the Yorkshire Moors.

Here are a few panos from the past couple of days. These are only draft versions for now. All are a couple megs in size and open in separate windows.

York Minster tower roof (275 winding steps up)

Micklegate Bar (one of the medieval city wall gatehouses)

A medieval courtyard at St. William's College

Fair Scarborough (from the castle)

Wow. I'm tired. Mostly because of trying to find a Roman road, and hiking a few miles while carrying the Panoscan gear for much of it because the caddy's battery holder sheared off its bolts when I was a couple miles from the car. I don't know where the road is, but it's well-hidden!

Plans for tomorrow depend on the weather. I'm not currently sure what it's supposed to do. I'm now going to see whether Shelley is on-line and chat for a bit, then hit the sack!
