I had quite an enjoyable chat this afternoon with Maggie and Bridget on Food Talk with the Kelly Twins. I was certain I would come off babbling like an idiot, but I think it went rather well. During the course of our ten-minute discussion (all live on the air, mind you), I discovered one of the twin’s husband is a vegetarian chef, which led me to tell them I’m in the midst of developing a vegan recipe page for Shenanchie’s Kitchen (which should debut in the spring). The twins kindly mentioned my fiction novel, also due for release in the spring (many thanks). The telephone-on-air chat was easier than I thought it would be, and hopefully I’ve overcome some of my demented fears of speaking in the public arena.
