2004-04-27 8:15 PM What a day & Jen's Q&A Mood: unsettled Read/Post Comments (2) |
Hehe...and all I wanted was the license to practice law!?!?
Hey, Rob: Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. :) I agreed to meet Tomas for lunch during his lunch hour. Opted for Stinking Rose (one of my favorite places). Good food, good conversation, bad feeling in my tummy. I swear, my stomach tied itself into knots before the food even made it to the table. It wasn't that he is bad company or anything like that, but it felt like I was cheating on Rob. Stupid, since I know I'm not. Felt that way nontheless. Couldn't wait for it to be over with. Problem is, he and I have interests in common and talked pretty freely - almost like he could be someone I would be interested in in different circumstances. Once I left, I called Jen; I needed some moral support and insight. Jen advised me to tell Rob how I felt. The advice sounds very good. She also said I should discuss eliminating the option again - at least to try it temporarily. Not sure about that one; we have been in our situation for a long time with the option, but the option has never been taken by either of us until now. I'll have to keep thinking about it. After that, I ran some errands. Unfortunately, the errands were in Valencia; so, I got stuck in all the town traffic from the I-5 closure. I don't know if there are enough Scarlett "S"s in the world to distribute them to all the worthy recipients today. Oh well. Made it back home. Totally drained, but not as bad as the last week. I must be on the downhill side of this crap. YAY! Rob is still in Utah. It is weird not talking to him at night before going to sleep. *sigh* 1.
