Finally - I am all better. Okay, not 100%, but certainly close. I have slept a full two nights in a row. Woo-Hoo!

Ditched out on my CSUF alumni reception on Wednesday; still wasn't feeling all that hot. Too bad, heard it was another good one.

I am looking forward to two interviews in the future - one for Google and one for the Orange County District Attorney's Office. I have wanted to work for the OCDA since I was in college - working for the other side. Granted, I was only in investigations, but I often found that difficult. Google just sounds like a cool company to work for. Either way, I am a happy camper. Already had one interview for Google - made it to round two. YAY! Attorney positions are in San Fran; not bad - I like the Bay Area. The other position is in San Mo. Cool. (See Kenny's journal.) It's a good thing Pepperdine jumped up in the rankings - makes me a more desirable candidate.

Yesterday, I ran some errands, got my car detailed, held Teen Court, and saw Rob for a bit. All in all, not a bad day. Teen Court certainly made impressions on some of todays youth - one of the juveniles charged and his mother are going to be going through some youth empowerment mediation with me, in-home. Definite communication errors going on right now. They both feel powerless against each other. Very sad situation. Hopefully, working with them will help. Spent some good, albeit short, time with Rob. He mentioned something to me that struck me pretty hard - he said something along the line of not understanding / knowing what it is about him that works so well with me. Wow. Okay. Let's see... He makes me laugh, usually at least once a day; I can freely express and act upon every facet of my personality - there is nothing I have to conceal, avoid, or downplay with him - I can be angry, sad, controlling, giving, whatever and all he does is accept me as ME; our honesty with each other; our communication - even when it is defective, we work on fixing it - and I can talk to him about pretty much anything; I love his ideals, priorities, goals, work ethic, dedication, etc; he places his family first - where it belongs - friends are also a top priority; we have most of our interests in common - educational backgrounds, places we want to go, things we want, food (duh, of course), baseball (SO important)...even though he is a Dodgers fan...GO ANGELS - those we don't don't negatively affect us, we just accept the differences; excellent bedroom skills; and, well, he is awfully adorable :). About sums it all up. Now, if only he didn't slack so much in reading this journal, he would know these things - LOL!

Today, went to LAX and picked up Arabella. So sad. She moved to Las Vegas. I already miss her. *pouts* At least she moved to a F-U-N place to visit. :) Anyway, we went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. Just got to hang out together, talk, commiserate, and just be friends. At least her cell phone company and miine are the same; we can call each other anytime for free. Nice.

Tomorrow, I am heading to San Diego for a BBQ with my cousin and his family. Third time is a charm. Now, if only I could find those directions he gave me...

Sunday is the REN FAIRE!!! YAY!!! Rob and I are going to meet up with Berek, Pita, Jen, and Rob. I will be dressed up, but will be the only one. Too bad for the others - dressing up is half the fun! I am looking forward to day with Rob and friends. Ready or not, here we come!

I do not make any guarantees that I will not sneak out from the Ren Faire early, kidnap Rob in my "Dungeon", do kinky things to him, do more kinky things with him, and then decide not to take him home, but back to my lair... Yep, I can make no guarantees, warranties, promises, or contracts that I will do no such thing...
