2004-05-24 3:09 PM Prep, prime, and not pass Mood: *shrugs* |
Hehe...and all I wanted was the license to practice law!?!?
Hey, Rob: Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. :) No, I wasn't putting off my news of the Bar. In fact, after I found out I did not pass, I made all the necessary calls, shed some tears, vented some anger, and then moved on. Too bad, so sad. It really isn't that big of news to me. Yes, it does take me out of some plans for the summer, but if that's the worst thing about it, I am in excellent shape. I am in good company; I know some incredible minded people who are in the same boat I am. So, we'll ban together and do it again. Stayed busy all weekend. Out with the parentals on Saturday to some wineries. Sunday at the Ren Faire with Jen, Rob, and Al. Wished Rob had been home, but, alas, he was with his own parentals in Utah and Vegas. Anyhow, Rob is home, my living room is painted (Spanish Red), I'm signed up for my course and the Bar and ready to go. Laundry to do, car wash to visit, and groceries to pick up. Tomorrow - GIRLY DAY!!! YAY! Jen is coming with me to get my hair colored. We are also planning on getting manicures and pedicures. It will be nice to relax, pamper, and just chat. Jen is an amazingly supportive friend - she understands that retaking the Bar is not a big deal, but also that it does put a crimp into plans and life for awhile. Well, off to it - my stuff won't get done by itself... Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
