2004-09-25 8:20 PM is there ever such a thing as a good funeral...? Mood: tired, slightly depressed, relieved, and thankful Read/Post Comments (0) |
Hey, Rob: Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. :) Funeral? Done. Thank Heaven. That's the relief part. Of course, the funeral also brings me to the slightly depressed AND the thankful emotions. Slightly depressed because, yes, whether for the good or the bad, a funeral is a funeral. As for the thankful, well, I am thankful for many things, generally, but definitely for some things about today: first, Don came to the funeral; second, my dad's family was VERY cool to me, my mother, my bro, and my pops - wasn't too sure what to expect (not that I expected them to be total a**holes or anything, but I wasn't sure how cold they would be); third, I know she is living a better life than she was here; and last, I and other fmaily members are still alive. The tired? Eck. Slept at the parentals last night so we could go to the funeral today. Needless to say, the 3-4 hours I actually slept was fine, but there is something to be said for being in my own place when I wake up at 3am and being able to aimlessly wander around, watch tv, or play on the computer until the rest of the world awakens. A few nights ago, for two nights in a row, I slept about 7-8 hours. Aside from that, in the past couple of weeks, I am amazingly running on an average of 3 hours of sleep. Hrmm. Who knew the human body could do such a thing...? However, based on the aforementioned info, I know when my body decides it needs to sleep more, it will. *prays* Please, let it be tonight. P.S. I tried to create an entry two days ago, but I screwed it up and lost it all. Not much of it seems important now, but for one thing - I changed my hair. Gonna tell? Nah. I'll let Jen see it first on Tuesday and then post about it. Got to keep her on her toes and surprise her once in awhile... : ) Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
