2004-09-29 4:52 PM Is it bedtime yet? Mood: exhausted but happy Read/Post Comments (0) |
Hey, Rob: Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. :) Yes, much to my chagrin I have been continuously posting in this journal, despite my ravings that I would not. Oh well; so sue me. Been up since 4am. Cleaned, and I mean cleaned, my bathroom. Literally had to scrub the floors with a hard brush. The tiles are so old that the top shiny part is wearing off; everytime I mop the floor with a cleaner, more of the coating comes off and creates a mess. So, I figured, why not scrub it with a hard brush, get off as much as will come off, and then not have to deal with it ever after? I broke the chore down into small pieces and did the floor section by section. Wiped me out though. Didn't do it so hard that I would hurt myself, but I probably should have waited until next time. Too late now. Headed out around 10am. Met up with Pops for lunch - very delicious Greek pitas - and then headed down the road to another interview in Costa Mesa. (I stand by my affirmation that I will disregard docs orders when abiding them would prohibit job interviews.) Felt good. Dunno what to expect though; the guy has many people interviewing for the position. Also, it seems he wants someone with a more business influenced background / education than my own. We'll see. I won't be too upset if I don't get it; financial stuff is NOT my forte. Now I am home and already wanting to climb into bed for the night. *yawn* Sleeeeeeeepeeeeeeee. I will force myself to refrain and to stay awake. I don't care if I have to go outside or dump ice down my back so long as I stay awake. My sleep pattern is screwed up enough as it is, I don't need to make it worse. Manana, I am heading out to see my 'Hair God'. The purple is just not taking very well. The first time it did not take at all and it turned pinkish red and faded to a brassy blond near the ends. Then, after the second attempt, the color stayed near the roots and fades to a brassy purple at the ends. He said he needs to work on it, but will figure something out. After that is Teen Court (school, and thus court, is back in session.) Following TC is the Bush / Kerry debate party at Republican HQ. Hopefully the two of them will actually discuss the issues and not (1) only talk about the war and (2) accuse each other of who has or has not done what. I want to know what the f*** either of them are going to do about the rest of the stuff in this country that has been declining. Even stuff that is going well, what is each person going to do to ensure it stays that way? Yeah, I may be partisan, but even partisans want to hear some facts from the candidate(s). Friday I have a morning breakfast meeting with C. and S. from LACBA-DRS. Looking forward to getting my hands back into that as soon as possible. Friday night I get Rob all to myself and then Saturday is ArrowFest...SWEET!!! Still have to figure out what food we are packing for the tailgate, or if we are gonna fork out the cash for the crap there. Guess which alternative I prefer... Maybe a little cat-nap... mrraaahhh *yawn fades into silence due to comatose state* Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
