Hehe...and all I wanted was the license to practice law!?!?
Hey, Rob: Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. :)

I have felt really good about my interviews the last couple weeks. It sucks that it takes so long to hear back after, but I guess that goes with the territory. Hey, at least I am getting the interviews, right? Today was an awesome one. Of all the ones I have been on, I think this is the best fit for me. I really enjoyed talking to the secretary, which is a plus, and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting with the attorney (who will remain nameless in this journal for obvious reasons). Anyhow, he is going to be heading his firm in a similar direction I personally have for myself and my career. He is heading out of litigation and into mediation, but doing so in a very individualistic manner. He has a very spiritual background (he is a fellow "Pepperhead") and works with many ministries in addition to his entertainment and corporate law clients. I am working to take my own path into mediation, but more directed toward juveniles, and juvenile law to some degree. Without getting into specifics, I was amazed by this person, which is a rarity. I respected him on a level that is not usually forthcoming from me. All I can do now is wait. That's the name of the job-hunt game. I will detail more about the position (it is a trial prep position for a specific case) if and when I hear a determination.

For tonight, I think I am gonna call it an early night and stay in. I was going to go see Rob, but I doubt he got out of work on time and will be home early enough for me to make it there, spend time with him, and back home without faling asleep behind the wheel. Oh well.

Heard from Rick today, he is gonna be in town this weekend. His mom sold her place and needs help getting it into storage. She will be temporarily living with a friend until she leaves for Oklahoma to help out her parents. After that, she isn't sure what she is going to do. As for Rick, well, as long as he tells his wife we are meeting up, I don't see a problem. I am NOT going down any other path with any different rules than that. He can be trouble. Always could be. Lord, I have always sure known how to pick 'em. LOL. It surprises me sometimes that we have stayed so close and such good friends through everything we have both been through in the 15 years we have known each other. I am glad we did.

*yawn* I am losing consciousness... g'night all.
