2004-10-09 5:03 PM Science...so NOT my subject. Mood: my brain feels mushy Read/Post Comments (0) |
Hey, Rob: Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. :) I just spent six hours trying to follow a lecture about Physics and Chemistry. Kinda difficult for a girl who never took anything beyond Earth Science. Well, if you want to count the 16 weeks I spent in a daze through Botany, go ahead... In any case, I managed to get out of Bio in high school and avoided science altogether in college (aside from the nasty Botany course). I suppose if I had stayed in high school, and potentially graduated, I would have had some other form of science. Oh well, too late now. Anyhow, I have to take this seminar course in order to update my Forensics certification. *sigh* There is math involved here, folks. Very scary. You know, this is one reason those wonderful computer programmers have come up with computer programs - to do the math for me! I could feel my brain begin to turn into something squishy half way through the lecture, and into total mush by the end of the day. *wimpering* There is another day of it tomorrow. I don't know if my brain can take it. I fear my brain will melt completely and leak out my ears. If the Dodgers win today, Rob has two tix for the game tomorrow. Yeppers, that means I have to ditch the last hour of my seminar. Boo-hoo. The prof already gave me the green light. I dig the prof, just not the subject matter. Yeah, I may be an Angels fan, but Rob is a Dodgers fan. He has supported my team; fair is fair. I get to see him tonight. Oops, I just realized the time... I got to go!!!
