2004-10-13 12:13 PM FREEEE!!! (With a few minor restrictions...) Mood: ecstatic, relieved, giddy, & a tad morose Read/Post Comments (2) |
Hey, Rob: Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. :) *doing the jiggly dance to the tune of "I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date..."* I'm free, I'm free, I'm free to now be me!!! YAY!!! Oh, yeah, those nasty little restrictions, no bug in MY ointment! So what if I cannot lift somethng over 25lbs.; sheesh, like I was going to anyway... So what if I cannot go diving or kick-boxing yet; it isn't like I have been chomping at the bit to go right now. I mean, really, if you are going to put restrictions on me, why not put some that are APPLICABLE to my life! Cri-manee!!! Yes, these restrictions would somehow mean something if (1) I was involved with someone who did them or (2) if I had the income to support those wonderful activities I love. Neither exist right now. Restrictions deshmictions - yadda yadda yadda. One small thing, I suppose I should go see the hemotologist when I am supposed to. That might be a good idea. Friday. Something happened that is making this healing thing take WAY too long. I have no idea what they are going to be able to find out by testing my blood, other than I what I already know... Oh well, I am FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Whew, Rob, just you watch out now! LOL. I think I should seriously look, not just half-heartedly, at moving back out to SCV or to OC. I spend more time in those two places than anywhere else. SCV has friends, my hair-god, and is my Rep. domain. It is also where I want to base my NPO. However, OC has friends, good eats, closer to baseball, and is usually around 15-20 degrees cooler at any given time. It also is prettier and, for the most part, has fewer snotty people. (However, the snotty ones in OC are by far more snotty in degree, even if fewer in number.) It is a toss up. Right now I am going to stay right here in the city. Eck. I am not a city girl - to any degree. I cannot see stars (I am talking astronomical here folks), it is too noisy, and I don't like the feeling of being cramped between buildings rather than the feeling of open-ness (even if it is only a state of mind and not reality). No matter where, LA, SCV, or OC, costs are soaring. In looking at buying, I like the idea of a planned community, but I immensely dislike housing tracts with identical houses every third or fourth house. Perfect for me would be a planned community ion terms of its layout and ratio for business to residential property, but one in which the residential could be custom homes...*sigh* Must. Have. Uniqueness. In SoCal, this is some dream... Oh, so back to what I was going to say - I am heading back out to SCV (I was there yesterday to get a haircut - no, not color, but a cut) for the Prez debate tonight at the Rep HQ. I am looking forward to it; it is supposed to focus on domestic issues. We'll see. No, I will not comment on the debates, just as I have not all along. There are two sides to every story. No matter what is said, there is something to it. However, there is always something to the other side of it as well. Inquiry gathering, that's all the debate is good for. Numbers (including statistics), facts, and documents can be construed in any manner and to any degree. Thus, one must look up the issues ones self after the debate to find the real answers - got to have both sides to every fact, number, or document presented in the debate. Time consuming, but well worthwhile. No, I am not questioning my vote - who or how - but I do question actions, policies, and declarations so I can vote intelligently. An aside - of course, if something leaps out at me that makes me have to change my vote, I will. Although, if it has not happened yet, it likely won't. Too bad there are no televised debates over the propositions, huh? Instead, you can read between the garbled lines of al the b/s each side has mailed out. Such a waste of paper.
