I am going to take over Lisa's job. She has the fun of training me before she leaves. The interview was kinda funny - lasted less than ten minutes. Pay sucks (just see Lisa's journal), but it will go up after a month. Then, after that I will take her advice and keep bitching for more money; apparently he gives in to persistence. Crappy pay is better than no pay AND it is only temporary - he knows he has me until May, but once the Feb Bar results are released, I am outta there. This is a good seguay; it gives me the cushion I need re: income for the time being so I can get my NPO up and running. It is more consuming than it sounded on paper...

Dinner with pops was yummy. I didn't actually order my Yaki tacos; we opted for the half price appetizer menu items and some drinks. Islands has some of the best spinach/artichoke dip anywhere!!!

Tomorrow is a day devoted to helping out the Congressman's staff with some campaign stuff; same with Saturday. Next weekend we have the STOMP in Las Vegas. Cool. After that there is a STOMP in Bakersfield I will likely help with too. Hrmmm... I am thinking I will head out early manana so I can pay a visit to my fave breakfast place next to the office. Thursday Special (available every day), it's all about the Thursday Special - a plate size pancake, eggs, and sausage or bacon, with a Newhall blend coffee. Happy, happy, happy. Yep, I must.
