Hey, Rob: Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. :) Yesterday, Jen and I headed out to Commerce. We hit the Halloween Outlet so I could pick up the rest of my HDay costume. While we were there, Jen found some stuff Rob needed for his costume as well. I think I got her hooked on this place. She wants to go back after the season and check it out en mass. Cool. From there, we headed to the Citadel outlet mall. There is a leather outlet there which had suede jackets on clearance for $30. I bought a brown and a black one. I also needed to exchange some pjs I bought at Eddie Bauer that were too big. I also picked up an XMas necessity for my mom's gift at the Corning outlet. For lunch we went to sbarro. Jen had never eaten the meatballs there, which are soooo yummy! We both had those and stuffed pizza. Other then Jen being pooped on by a bird, lunch was good. After lunch, on our way out, we went into a lingerie pj outlet - I found flannel pj pants for $8. I picked out four I liked and some melon sugar mint body cream. A quick stop at Starbucks and we headed off to the Brea Mall. Jen is looking for some Cthulu stickers, but can only find "Cthulu for President" stickers. The Brea Mall used to have a really cool store to find them in, but, alas, it was there no more. *sniffle* In any case, the trip in the rain and among all the stupid drivers was worthwhile because Jen found this AMAZING coat in Lane Bryant. It is a soft leather with an even softer pink interior. Very nice. I want one, but I cannot justify the cost. (Especially afetr findging the other two for $30 each.) I tried to pick up some make-up I need from MAC, but they still don't have it in stock. Nevermind that the lady told us they had not received a shipment in the last week WHILE the shipment of boxes was stacked in the corner of the store. Wow, I am amazed at the magnitude of my moron magnet at times. Anyhow, she did call the Hollywood / Highland store and have them put one on hold for me. We left Brea and headed to grab Rob from work so he would not have to take the bus or walk in the rain. Originally, Jen wanted to be back toward home pretty early so she and Rob could get stuff done for their trip. However, with the rain and the stupid people on the road, we did not even get Rob until 5:30. (He gets off at 4:30.) He said it was actually okay since he got more work done and was able to get further ahead before he takes off half of Thursday and all of Friday. Whew. Being so late, we were hungry, so we decided to grab some food. We talked about chinese, but since we were going to drive right by Hollywood / Highland and I needed to stop anyway, we opted to look for food there. Johnny Rockets. Mmm-mmm-good. I discovered something I never realized I never wanted to know - Rob has a hot thick drippy thing. Uh, yeah. Enough said. After dinner I dropped them off at their place and headed home. The rain hit hard on my way, but I had no major encounters with stupid people en route. YAY! Home, pjs, talked to Rob on the phone, watched some stupid-tube, talked to Rob some more, then went to sleep. The sound of the rain hitting my bedroom window was the best way to fall asleep... ___________________________________________________________ This might be useful against the Stupid people...
