2005-01-05 5:49 PM not banking on it, but hopeful Mood: out of touch Read/Post Comments (0) |
Hey, Rob: Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. : ) I never realized how computer dependent I am. It is an awful feeling to know I could not get to emails, update my journal, and otherwise do what I like or need to do on the internet. However, I am hopeful that I will be up and running later tonight; I am updating very briefly from work before I head home. My prayers to the DSL gods have been many and often, so maybe, just maybe it has been enough. Y'all will know tomorrow - if I post, it worked. No posting means, well, I have killed someone at Verizon. Look for my name and likeness in the media under the heading, "WOMAN GOES POSTAL - FURY AND RAGE BURN ALONG HER PATH!" Three weeks - yep, three weeks. Their fault. I have had to pay the penalty for their stupidity. (Yes, I promise to update the Adventures page with the full story.)
