2005-01-10 8:20 AM I thought days off were supposed to be fun Mood: anxious Read/Post Comments (0) |
Hey, Rob: Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. : ) Today is the day I get the staples out of my head. My sister warned me that it hurts, but the doc has told me they will inject my head with Lidocain first. Afterward, I will be sent home with Percoset for the pain. Hrmmm... I should be delusional for at least a good couple hours after that!!! On the way to the doc, I am dropping off my keys, parking permits, and gate opener to the management office of my old apartment. Soooooo nice to know I never have to deal with the idiocy of some of the people over there. Anyone who doubts, just ask Jen - she can tell you ALL about her (mis)adventures, particularly with Patrol. I have two other stops to make today before I get numb. Regular everyday errands that I did not get done on Friday. I was able to get to Martin ("Hair God") and get my roots touched up. He had to be super careful not to get anywhere near the staples, so it was tricky. I will go back on the 29th for an all-over color. I just could not stand the blond stripe going down my part because the roots grew out so much. Yeck!!! Saturday was spent with the parentals. I made them carnitas, which they loved. They let me do my multiple loads of laundry in their oversize washing machine - so much easier. Sunday was going to be spent with a movie and sushi, but Tony and I decided to postpone. The weather and trying to wrap up the last of my unpacking and his trying to wrap up some stuff for his work made it less than do-able. I did finish unpacking; well, all but my crystal. I plan to get through that this morning before I head out; it is only two boxes. This week is going to be busy at work, but nothing like it was just prior to the turn of the year. On Thursday Tony and I will likely go for sushi. However, seeing Merchant of Venice will have to wait. May get to it next weekend. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
