Hehe...and all I wanted was the license to practice law!?!?
Hey, Rob: Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. : )

I have decided to feature different vineyards this year. We will see how often I remember to update, but I am planning on monthly. (Do not hold your breath; I suck at changing my journal page pictures.)

May someone please come kill me now? Just put me out of my misery?

I did go to the doc yesterday. The flu. Nothing he can do about it except to tell me to keep hydrated and eat. Hydrated? No problem. Eat? Yeah, I do get hungry; but the food refuses to stay inside my body. So, tell me, HOW is this continuing cycle supposed to be helping me???

For the most part, the past two days have been fun filled with sleep, drink diet 7-up, eat, get ill, go back to sleep, and repeat. This could be a worse time - I could still be working for my previous boss (I am sure this would really be piss in his Cheerios). I am missing work for DRS, but apparently this week had few mediations scheduled. All in all, timing is better than it could be.

The sleep part of the cycle was momentarily interrupted by a 3:30am phonecall from R. Two nights in a row. How lovely. I did not answer the first night since I did not recognize the number and it was 3:30am. Last night his name came up on the ID, so I answered. I figured, why would he call at 3:30am if it was not important? His comment to me was he was hoping I was awake. Uh, no. NO! NO! NO! Not at 3:30am!!! Anyhow, he said he would call back during the day. Okay, whatever. I am not sure what he wants. Sometimes he just says, "Hi," at times we have not talked in a long time. Other times he has wondered if I am single. Still, other time, he has had random miscellaneous curiosities. I am guessing he would not call me in the middle of the night to say hi - if he did, he may want to stay clear for awhile. In any case, I think 3:30 is ridiculous, unless someone is bleeding or dying.

Back on topic - This flu had better be gone by Saturday. I am supposed to have an entire day with Rob - the last known one for seven months. I will see him during the Academy, but I do not know when or for how long. I want to make the most of Saturday. If I am sick, I am not letting him come anywhere near me. He cannot get sick, especially from me and especially when it can be avoided.

Sunday is the family SuperBowl Birthday party. Again, if I am sick, I am not going anywhere near it. I will mope, whine, and snivel alot, but I do not want to give this to anyone else. I seriously doubt it will hang on that long, but I would rather prepare for worst case scenario and be happy when I get to go than prepare to go and be disappointed. Wow, I cannot believe it has only been a year since my last birthday - it seems like ages ago!!!

All of you are caught up; I am going back to bed.
