Hehe...and all I wanted was the license to practice law!?!? Hey, Rob: Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die. : ) If you had to pick five fictional literary characters who would best embody you (in some aspect, either now or in the past), who would you choose? Encyclopedia Brown Gretel Hamlet Gene Phineas Which five books (any genre) have had the greatest influence on you? A Separate Peace, by John Knowles; True Notebooks, by Mark Salzman; Diary of a Young Girl, by Anne Frank; My Sweet Audrina, by VC Andrews; and a book whose title I cannot, for the life of me, remember - it is about a young girl who has to deal with her mother's dying from leukemia. Some of the contents I remember are that the mom makes the best reuben sandwiches and the girl eats them as she sits on the roof of the house - I cannot remember the author either What is your favorite commonly censored book? A Separate Peace, by John Knowles (one of my favorite books EVER) Where the Sidewalk Ends (a close second) If you would ever burn a book (God forbid), which book would it be? Why? Any math book. LOL. Are you a monogamous reader, or do you like to read around? One book at a time. This works for me since one book does not last me very long. I read too much and too fast to afford to "feed the habit"; have to make it last as long as possible. Last one, and be honest: Do you skip ahead to the ending? Ocassionally - if the book is moving too slow for me, I may choose to skip to the end. If the end is one which is too predictable based upon what I have read to that point, I am done with the book; otherwise, it keeps me going. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
