Hey, Rob: Little boy, you mumble. : P

Holy crap! It is almost here! So much to do, so little time.

Gen X Survey from Netter

Here are some questions for the people who are a little more mature...(In the words of Netter, "*gigglesnort*...yarite.")

1. What bill do you hate paying the most?

I resent paying the gas card bill.

2. Where's the best place to eat a romantic dinner?

Oooh, I love Netter's answer (off a naked body), but, frankly, I am not much of a romantic dinner kinda gal. Too much mushy sh** makes me want to puke.

3. Last time you puked?

When I was in the hospital back in January. Alot.

4. When is the last time you got drunk and danced on bar?

My 27th birthday party at Tokyo Delve's Sushi Bar... A little known fact to anyone other than those in attendance - my mother joined me! Gotta love those saki-bombs!!!

5. Name of your first grade teacher?

Ms. Leinhos

6. What do you really want to be doing right now?

Cuddling in bed with R.

7. What did you want to be when you were growing up?

First, a teacher; later, a lawyer; always, just like my mom.

8. How many colleges did you attend?

Including grad school, five.

9. Why are you wearing the shirt you have on now?

No reason to be out of my pjs yet.

10. GAS PRICES! First thought?

FU**ERS!!!

11. If you could move anywhere and take someone with you...

I would do it.

12. First thought when the alarm went off this morning?

Since it is Saturday, no alarm was set.

13. Last thought before going to sleep last night?

So. Tired.

15. Favorite style of underwear for the opposite sex?

Again, Netter takes the cake on answers with, "none", but second choice would be boxers.

16. What errand/chore do you DISLIKE?

Only one??? If I can only pick one, it HAS to be grocery shopping. I loathe being in grocery stores. Yet, if I can pick more than one, cooking, laundry, and sitting down to pay bills / balance the checkbook and accounts.

17. If you didn't have to work, would you volunteer at an art gallery?

No. I would volunteer somewhere else, but not at an art gallery.

18. Get up early or sleep in?

No choice in the matter, wake up early. My body just wakes up of its own accord most of the time around 4:00-4:30am.

19. Who is your favorite cartoon character?

Dick Dastardly and his sidekick Mutley.

20. Favorite NON-sexual thing to do at night with a girl/guy?

Cuddle in bed and watch a movie.

21. A secret that you wouldn't mind everyone knowing?

If I would not mind, it would not be a secret in the first place.

22. How many joints pop when you get out of bed in the morning?

Usually only my bad knee, but sometimes my spine.

23. What is the biggest amount of $$ you have made from a yard sale?

Never had one.

24. Your favorite lunchmeat?

I will not eat processed lunchmeat. If we are talking meat from a deli, roast beef sliced uber thin.

25. What do you get every time you go into a 7-11?

A Slurpee for R.

26. Beach or lake?

Depends, but I like one as much as the other.

27. Do you think marriage is an outdated ritual?

No.

28. Who do you stalk on MySpace?

No one. I know a handful of people on there, but rarely get over there to check out their entries.

29. Favorite guilty pleasure?

Um, I did not get the memo that indicated I had to feel guilty about any of my pleasures...

30. Favorite movie you wouldn't want anyone to find out you have?

R and I have a wide array of movies (including some classics like The Thing, The Blob, and a few compilation DVDs of Elvira episodes), but I doubt any of our favorites would be anything we would not want anyone to find out we own.

31. What's your drink?

Sparkling water.

32. Cowboys or Indians?

Never cared.

33. Cops or Robbers?

Duh.

34. Do you cheer for the bad guy?

Depends on what he does that makes him the "bad" guy.

35. What Hollywood star do you think resembles you best?

Scully, from the X-Files.

36. If you had to pick one, which cast member of "Lost" would you be?

Dunno. Never seen the show.

37. What do you want when you are sick?

Grilled cheese and tomato soup, my pillow, and kisses blown to me across the room by R.

38. Who from high school would you like to run into?

There are a few people I would not mind running into, but no one I would make an effort to get in touch with.

40. What do you like to do on your days off?

If R and I are both off on the same days, we go off galavanting together or stay in watching movies. If I am flying solo, I finish all the chores I can so I can read without feeling any nagging guilt.

41.Who's your favorite Grey's Anatomy character?

Yeah, dunno. Never watched the show.

42. Norm or Cliff?

Norm.

43. The Cosby Show or the Simpsons?

Ugh. Neither.

44. Worst relationship mistake that you wish you could take back?

Not gonna get into that on here.

45. Do you like the person who sits directly across from you at work?

No one there.

46. If you could get away with it, whom would you kill?

Kill? No one. Maim or commit mayhem upon? There are a few...those that know me, know the few on the list.

47. What famous person would you like to have dinner with, alive or dead?

Queen Katherine (first wife of Henry VIII), Madeleine Albright, Queen Elizabeth (current), F. Scott Fitzgerald, Anne Rice, Shakespeare, Robert Frost, Judas, or any one of the Knight's Templar would suffice.

49. Have you ever had to use a fire extinguisher for its intended purpose?

Hehehehe - of course. Like I wrote, I dislike cooking.

50. Last book you read for real?

Is there such an action as reading for fake? Neil DeGrasse Tyson's "Death By Black Hole and Other Cosmic Quandries".

51. Do you have a teddy bear?

More than one, yes.

52. Strangest place you have ever brushed your teeth?

Using the Colorado River as water during a whitewater rafting trip.

53. Somewhere in California you've never been and would like to go?

I am lucky to be able to say I have been everywhere of interest to myself in California. Everyone should make it a point to know their own state before venturing off elsewhere.

54. Number of texts in a day?

Dunno - cannot stand them and refuse to check them.

55. At this point in your life would you rather start a new career or relationship?

I am in the midst of the new career, and a new change in my current relationship, so neither, really.

56. Do you go to church?

Sometimes, when an occasion calls for it.

57. Pencil or pen?

Either.

58. Bueller??? Bueller??? Bueller???

Ladies and gentlemen, you're such a wonderful crowd we'd like to play a little tune for you. It's one of my personal favorites, and I'd like to dedicate it to a young man who doesn't think he's seen anything good today. Cameron Frye... this one's for you. (Sings Danke Shein in parade.)

59. How many jobs have you had?

A handful enough to know that it sometimes takes two to pay for college, bills, and some fun time.
