There are people out there rooting for Jorja to stay on the show (aka Sara Sidle), but there are those of us who cannot WAIT for her to leave. There were so many opportunities in last night's episode for her to die, yet the show chose to take the predictable paths at every junction. Dammit. Ugh, and the ending? What the he** were they thinking??? Of course, the best course the show could follow now, knowing she lives, is for her to have some fatal malady resulting from her 'trauma', and still manage to kill her off. Crimeny! What were we expecting as the *surprise*? My friends and I thought the best *surprise* (given the fact that she opened her eyes at the end) was for her to see his name, know he came for her, and then die. Awwwww, such are the true loves of Shakespearean proportion. Instead, we were given the *surprise* that she is on at least another episode to torture us once again. *rolls eyes* No, it is not Jorja herself, or necessarily the elements of her character that drive me and my friends batty, it is her, for lack of better terminology, "dry whining"; she is like the little kid who knows she is going to get in trouble for whining, so discovers a sans-shriek and snivel way to do it. Whining is whining, no matter how one covers it up. Oh, and the "woe is me...I grew up in bad circumstances" b/s - yeah, so NOT buying it from her character. Please, just let her die. One person had an interesting thought as to the direction of the storyline - Grissom and Sidle being 'caught'...Since Petersen has long said he is ready to move on from the show, and Fox has been saying the same, perhaps they can both get fired together. I know this is not fair thinking, but if Grissom goes, I go. I have long held that he IS the reason I watch the show. (Lord knows it is not for the accuracy of being a C.S.I. in reality.) If Sidle does not go, I may just have to go anyhow. If they both go, it is with a heavy heart that I will leave the show since I would LOVE to enjoy it without Sidle's character, but *snifflewah* just do not want to be a part of it without Grissom's character. Only time will tell. Last second thought - perhaps Sidle will be leaving work one night, cross a street, get hit by a flash of lightning, and die. Nah, the writers would find a way to let her live. Bummer. Ghost Orchid - are they not simply lovely? ![]() Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
