Someone posted a comment that I should write about things that are more import, so for once, I will do as asked. I can just picture my mother wondering why I NEVER listen to her. Well, actually there are many important things I am aware of, however one hits home right now.

The very reason I started writing these rants were for entertainment. I actually was hoping to get a chuckle out of one particular sports-loving lady. I thought that maybe I could make her laugh and make her feel just a bit better. Who knows, maybe well enough to do something that we all take for granted, the simple act of eating.

This lady is shy and does not want you to know who she is and that she is sick, very, very sick. SO, let's just call her Mrs Claus. The problem is -- she REALLY is Mrs. Claus. Her husband is Santa Claus. He is Santa to me, to my family, and to everyone that has ever met him. He has volunteered for at least a quarter of a century and been Santa to everyone for FREE. He looks like Santa, and acts like Santa, and laughs like Santa. My mother even says he IS Santa. He is 100% devoted and in love with his wife. He does not deserve this and neither does she.

If Mrs Claus does not receive a liver and some kidneys, among other parts, NOW…she may not have much longer. I have offered mine, but they can not take everything from me and they want all the donated organs from one donor. Unfortunately, that leaves us in a grave situation ... needing another human being that is her same blood type to pass away very soon.

OK- Now do you see why I was not writing about serious matters. I was trying to bring a little light to a horrible situation. I know that sports make her smile and hearing funny antecidotes might make her smile through the bleak times. SO, if it is o.k. with you, whoever wrote the comment; I will continue to write and rant and hopefully bring a small smile to Mrs Claus' lovely face. One favor, everyone pray tonight for a woman you may, or may not, have met. I know I will ...
