Alright...enough already. I am going to set some rules and regulations for future Black Friday shopping. Before you get all upset with me- I have been shooping on Black Friday for the past three years, and I have done rather well. This year- I actually enjoyed it- well, except for freezing my manly goods off. However- I see ways it can be improved- and I hope that stores actually take the time to consider this:

The waiting line. I think that people who get there early- may be have a replacement person take their place while they use a restroom- or other urgent needs- as long as they are not replaced with more than one person. Therefore, if you are tenth in line at midnight- you are tenth in line when they open. Problem is- that one person gets in line and then, just before the store opens, they are replaced with five other people. I started out 17th in line, at Target, and was 40th, when they finally opened. I still got everything I wanted, but I would have been really pissed if they had only 39 big screen tvs. The people that get there twelve hours before they open- need to know that their place in society is safe.

Grace period: Let the people that have waited all night- in the freezing cold- and blizzard conditions- have a few moments inside the store to gather up their items. It is not fair that the first person is only allowed to get the single thing they came for while the other ten thousand people push and shove for the $3 toasters. Give that first person five minutes to get all the things they want- as long as they only get one of each DOORBUSTER. Last year- Sears was the BEST, I was the first person in line. The manager came outside and talked with me hours before the store opened and asked what I was there for. He took my flyer and gathered up all of the things that I wanted and gave me 5 minutes in the store- before the other lemmings were let in.

NO RESELLING: This really pisses me off. How many people are just there to buy an item and then go home and put it on EBAY for more? I do not know how you can monitor this- but it really pisses me off. I am there to get gifts for my wife and kids to open on Christmas and others have turned this into a way to turn a quick buck...hey, are you one of those? Grow up.

Bathrooms: How about a port-a-potti outside of Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Sears, etc? Would it kill you to have a way for us to take a leak? I was in line for 12 friggin hours.

Support: How about coffee? Why can't some person come around and sell coffee to us all-night shoppers? I think next year, I am going to sell coffee and donuts- at $5.00 each...ooops...now I am one of those people who are making a profit...ok- I will have free coffee for the poor slobs, like me, in line...
