When will athletes realize they are not real people?

I really hate when athletes come out- in public- and complain. Just listen to what some of the NFL players are complaining about. They are bitching that during the upcoming "lockout" they will be without medical benefits. Poor you. Seriously? You make a bazillion dollars a year and you can not afford to go to the doctor. Really? I do not feel sorry for you. Why the HELL do you need medical benefits anyway. I would love to see the medical bills for Shaq when he was out with a "stubbed toe" while he was with the Cavs. I bet the doctor bills ran into 5 digits and none of it came out of the 9 digits he has already made in the NBA. Do any athletes have any sense of the real world? Doubt it. Look at Miguel Cabrera from the Tigers. Cabrerra just got arrested for DUI...he asked the cops- "do you know who the hell I am" as he downed another shot of scotch. The cops should have said..."yes I do...you are that overweight, over paid, self centered, alcoholic, lucky-to-be-an-athlete, etc...etc... Have any pro athletes ever worked an honest day in their lives? Doubt it. They are always preaching about how they "work so hard all week" and "where they came from" Bull-friggin-shit. They are pampered cry babies that were blessed to be born to grow to 7 feet tall or with a rocket arm. They never worked hard in their lives. People are always talking about the "collective bargaining agreement" in all sports. The are NOT true union workers. If they were REAL union workers- their contract would read like this..."all Quarterbacks- make $45.00 per hour- for all hours actually in practice- and on the field. Of course- they would have full medical benefits and a good retirement package. ALL QUARTERBACKS- make the same wage. That is how a real union contract reads. I belonged to both the Teamsters and the IBEW...so don't even try to question my logic. Grow the HELL up athletes. You are spoiled rotten- aand you do not appreciate it at all. You are lucky to have been born with goood genes. You have NEVER- repeat NEVER worked a single day in your lives. You need to realize just how spoiled you really are. I WORK 60 hours a week- every single week- driving a truck- to provide for my family. I 100% guarantee that if I were 7 feet tall...I would be in the NBA- and I would GLADLY play for the minimum contract- and I would never publically gripe about how I was underpaid. Oh yeah- and I would definetely not waste my money- get arrested for drunk driving- cheat on my wife- etc. I would thank the Lord each and every day for being lucky enough to be a professional athlete...as I said earlier...GROW THE HELL UP
