Oh, gaaarh. There's a third spider (hanging out in a web just outside the window in front of me, so that I have to look at it while I type). Slightly different markings, and heftier--this looks like a real muscle-man spider. Can anyone think of another scary spider Name From Literature? I've used up Shelob and Aragog already on the kitchen window spiders. (Yes, they're outside the window, not in the kitchen itself, thank God.)
