I have an agent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My novel Masks & Shadows is now represented by Shawna McCarthy.

I am just unbelievably happy.

I read Shawna's email today while sitting alone in my family's house in Michigan (while everybody else was off at work/school), and started making screaming noises of excitement and alarming the cats & dog. Then I started trying to call people--and no one was at their phone! I spent about an hour trying to get my brother's Labrador Retriever to understand the immensity of my news. (The cats were a lost cause.) Finally, I got through to my dad, Patrick, and my mom.

I am just so happy right now.
