Okay, the title of the entry probably gives my news away:

I got the job!

Hurray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The interview went well, I loved the atmosphere I'd be working in, and I liked the people a lot. I got out, met Patrick, told him all the things I was afraid I'd messed up, he reassured me, we went home and took Nika on a walk...and when we got back, there was a message waiting for me on my cell phone.

We just finished celebrating over at a friend's house. I'll be meeting with three people from Opera North for coffee and informal chat about the details next Thursday, but in the meantime I'm just very, very happy.

Oh, and yeah--I am going to have to work so hard on my thesis before I start the job at the beginning of July! But that's a worry for another day. :)
