So, we're back on the plane to England this afternoon. Sigh. Vacations never last long enough, and the good-bye parts are horrible.

I'm so excited about my plane books though. I got Naomi Novik's Throne of Jade (sequel to His Majesty's Dragon) for my birthday this year, and yesterday Patrick and I ran into Barnes & Noble to pick up the 3rd book in the series, Black Powder War, on the day of its official US release. (Better than waiting another year and a half to get it in England....) Plus, my mom got me the 3rd in Elizabeth Aston's Regency fun series, The True Darcy Spirit, my brother Ben got me Carrie Vaughn's Kitty & the Midnight Hour, and Patrick got me Tate Hallaway's Tall, Dark and Dead. So if I can't sleep on the airplane, I'll have lots & lots of inflight entertainment.

Heather's posted some fabulous Wiscon photos, including several photos from our reading. Eee! I got all happy just from looking at them again. I had so much fun at Wiscon.

OK, now I can feel myself starting to get sentimental and nostalgic, so I'm going to stop.

Time to finish my morning coffee and start packing!
