Poor Patrick has the Cold from Hell, but it is his birthday and it's been lovely (well, for me, at least!) so far. He opened his presents first thing this morning (with Maya giving lots of help, of the bounding and sniffing variety), and after lunch I'm going to make him vegan chocolate birthday cake.
