A perfect way to start the week

First of all, can I just say that this is the best news I've ever gotten on a Monday morning? A bonafide excuse to eat 45g of dark chocolate a day! (I have already commissioned Patrick to keep me stocked up.) I don't even care whether it really helps the CFS or not - I'm just in heaven at the permission to start eating 4x the amount of dark chocolate I used to eat (and used to feel guilty about)!

I'm also listening to Pink Martini's new album Hey Eugene, which is making me very happy. Maya is curled up on the futon against my legs, napping while I type. This morning I've already spent an hour working on revisions, and the sky outside, if not blue, is at least not raining at the moment. I've just made my monthly Amazon.co.uk order, and Tim Pratt's Blood Engines and Christopher Barzak's One for Sorrow are both winging their way toward me (or at least they will be in about 2 weeks). I've even found a Georgian House to visit in Edinburgh next weekend, complete with an 18th-century kitchen!

It's been a good start to the week. :)
