...about Heath Ledger, who was discovered dead in his apartment, just 28 years old. He was one of my very favorite actors. I was blown away by his performance as a quiet, inarticulate man full of repressed emotion in Brokeback Mountain, and then amazed by how great he was at playing the complete opposite of that character in Casanova, where he was sparkling and witty and glamorous. And then I saw A Knight's Tale, and loved his performance in yet another completely different role. I loved all those different faces, all so convincing and so distinct.
