Late yesterday evening the Lone Meth Ranger Newsletter past over 500,000 pages viewed. For those of you that are familiar with numbers yes, that is over a half million hits to the Lone Meth Ranger Newsletter. That is dazzling numbers for this small little part of the world in West âBy Godâ Virginia.

As our readers know our website and articles once centered on providing information to educate our friends concerning the harm meth causes. However, we felt sometime back that our work was done in that area, so we started investigating and writing articles about corrupt public officials in and around Calhoun and Gilmer County with a little of this and that thrown in now and then.

With over Eleven Hundred subscribers, most of which have local ISP addresses, gives evidence that all the local folks with a computer at home or at work have somewhat of a grasp on the corruption laced operations of the West Virginia State Police as well as the Smoke and Mirrors man, Mr. Gerald B. Hough, falsesecuting attorney from Gilmer County, just to mention a few.

For the folks who donât have access to a computer they have lent their ears to friends who do have, and information has spread quickly by word of mouth concerning the ungodly amount of official misconduct in the area.

We at the Lone Meth Ranger Newsletter wish to thank our steadfast readers and our allies for their support with information when we asked. Thanks Folks you make our job easy in reporting the facts.

Gerald B. Houghâs Legal Career balancing on Judge Jack Alsopâs upcoming Ruling

Gilmer County Prosecutor, Gerald B. Hough purportedly made statements to âArrest and Jailâ individuals who are involved with local websites who have questioned his behavior of covering up for police officers and other forms of misconduct. John M. Richards is one such person Gerry Hough promised to have arrested and jailed, as Hough believes Richards has ties to Three or Four local websites that question Houghâs alleged criminal misconduct in the prosecutorâs office.

Hough is seemingly fighting to stay out of jail himself and has stubbed his nose at citizens who have demanded he remove himself from the Richards Case. Colleagues who have not abandon Hough yet; have purportedly encouraged Hough to remove himself to avoid the appearance impropriety.

Richardsâ attorney, Mr. Kevin W. Hughart has motioned the Honorable Court of Gilmer County to remove Gerry Hough as Prosecutor, outlining several prejudice remarks made by Hough. However, Prosecutor Hough states he does not remember making those remarks and is forcefully fighting not to be removed from the Gilmer County Court Case of 08-F-2, State vs. John Manis Richards.

As we have all read, Judge Richard Facemire has removed himself from Richardsâ Gilmer County Case for nearly the same reasons Richardsâ attorney has asked the Court to remove Prosecutor Gerry Hough from the case.

Community confidence in Gerry Hough and the operation of his office is said to be at an all time low. Conversations in and around Gilmer County is centered around Houghâs willingness to allow officials to break the law and cover up for them.

Community sentiment and town gossip has it that Gerry Hough must fight to stay on the case because any other prosecutor who is assigned to replace him may uncover evidence of misconduct committed by Gerry Hough himself regarding supposed manipulation of witnesses and falsifying case evidence.

Gerry Houghâs legal career may be riding on the Judgeâs ruling. Therefore, Hough must fight to remain on the case to hide suspected wrongdoing committed by himself as well as Glenville Police Chief John Wm. Moss and Grantsville State Trooper, Doug P. Starcher who Hough has protected from criminal prosecution on several occasions.

So much for avoiding the appearance of impropriety on the part of Gilmer Countyâs Prosecuting Attorney, Mr. Gerald B. Hough.

Answering a Few Good Questions

Well, since âGrantsville Personâ has posted a comment on CalPatty Press on October 27 asking for answers, and I have also received several e-mails asking âwhatâ happen to the charge that Trooper Skidmore charged me with back in April 2008. I guess it is time to answer the question or questions submitted by âGrantsville Personâ.

1. Is the charge still pending?

Answer: Yes

2. Has he had a preliminary hearing?

Answer: No, It is my understanding that the Prosecutors Office is reviewing case law and case facts to determine if a violation of law has taken place. As most of you know Calhounâs last prosecutor Mathew Jason Minney would assist State Police in presenting the false or bogus charge to a magistrate or Grand Jury. However, after speaking with several attorneys it is the position of Calhounâs current prosecutor that right is right and wrong is wrong. Therefore, if case facts and West Virginia Code suggest a law was violated then the case will move forward. On the other hand if West Virginia Code and case facts do not warrant further court action, then the charge will be dismissed, sparing any further burden on tax payers.

3. Is the charge valid or bogus?

Answer: Bogus! However, I do not feel that Trooper Skidmore brought the charge with wrongful intent or at least that is what I choose to believe at this time. I do however; feel there was a rush to charge me without properly researching case facts and proper review of West Virginia Code. Case facts are clear, and West Virginia Code is clear. In my recent Trial in Judge Reeds Court, I had my attorney question a Trooper on the Witness Stand concerning facts outlined in Trooper Skidmoreâs warrant. The Trooperâs testimony vindicates the charge that Trooper Skidmore lodge against me.

4. Is Doug Starcher involved with the charge?

Answer: That is a good question! My only answer is; I have talked to several attorneys who feel that Trooper Doug Starcher lies in every case he is involved in or testifies in. I feel Trooper Doug Starcher is a drain on the Judicial System in Calhoun County as well as the West Virginia State Police as a whole and as a Public Safety Unit.

Richards Found Not Guilty Regarding Sex Offender Registry Law

State Police arrested and charged John Manis Richards with a felony on January 7, 2008 regarding a registry violation in Wood County. Richards was arraigned in front of Magistrate Joyce Purkey and released on a $30,000 cash bond.

The charge was dismissed the first time by Wood County Magistrate Emily Bradley because the State Trooper filed a bogus or incorrect charge. (case dismissed) The Trooper then re-filed the Felony Charge.

Magistrate Brenda Marshal was than assigned the case and held a hearing where she listened to Trooper testimony and reviewed alleged evidence submitted by State Police and found no probable cause exists to prolong the case against Richards. (case dismissed)

Magistrate Marshal in dismissing the case stated that she sees no law violation, and that, âMr. Richards has done above and beyond his call of duty regarding the registry.â

State Police then must have felt that the two Magistrates were wrong in their dismissal rulings as State Police requested for the Prosecutors Office to present the charge to the Wood County Grand Jury for a direct indictment.

A Wood County Grand Jury handed down a total of 54 indictments in May 2008, of which Richards was indicted on one Felony pursuant to misleading State Police Testimony.

Richards was arraigned on May 23, 2008 in front of Wood County Circuit Judge Jeffery Reed. Richards plead not guilty to the charge and asked for a bench trial. Judge Reed set Richards bond at $10,000 and bond was posted.

On October 22, 2008 a Bench Trial was held regarding State of West Virginia vs. John Manis Richards by the Honorable Judge Jeffery Reed. The Prosecutor presented State Police testimony and entered State Police Records as evidence in the case.

Upon the State resting their case Richardsâ Wood County Attorney, G. Bradley Frum asked for an acquittal in the case, stating that the State has not proven that a crime was committed. Judge Reed then allowed the prosecutor to argue as to why he should not dismiss the case at that stage. The Judge even questioned the prosecutor as to how he felt Richards had violated any law.

After only hearing the State Police side of the case and Richardsâ attorney not even calling one witness or presenting any evidence in the case, the Judge found John Manis Richards âNot Guiltyâ of the charge lodged against him by the West Virginia State Police.

Individuals and attorneys who were involved and consulted with regarding the case feel that it is the duty of the Prosecutors Office to review alleged law violation that State Police want individuals charged with and not allow unjust charges to continue through the court system just because a Trooper wants the person tried.

Just because Trooper Doug Starcher calls a Trooper Buddy in Wood County and says he feels John Richards has violated the law doesnât mean a law was broken. Number One, Trooper Doug Starcher has no credibility. Number Two, Trooper Doug Starcher IS involved with fabricating false charges against Richards in Gilmer and Calhoun County.

The Wood County Case was a proven waste of Tax Payer Money that could have been prevented by the Wood County Prosecutors Office.

Consequences are Coming

One cannot knowingly allow or give false testimony in a Grand Jury Proceeding. Complaintâs are being prepared against Glenville Police Chief John âPanokeoâ Moss and Gilmer County Prosecuting Attorney, Gerry âSmoke and Mirrorsâ Hough on grounds of Official Misconduct and Perjury.

Things like "coaching false testimony" and "fabricating or lying about evidence" can't be compared as though they're separate, competing crimes. They are rooted in the same framework of lawlessness. The same rationale that justifies one is what justifies the other. Endorsing one is to endorse all of it. Evidence is mounting that certainly proves Smoke and Mirrors along with Panokeo endorse much more lawlessness than the aforementioned crimes.

In fact, none of the scandals of criminality which we've learned about over the last few years -- including the Travesty of Justice Case -- can be viewed in isolation. They're all by-products of the Rogue Official acceptance era, primarily as a result of our collective decision to exempt our Public Officials from the rule of law; to acquiesce to the manipulative claim that we can only gain criminal convictions of law breakers if we allow our officers and prosecutors to be free from consequences when they commit crimes; and to demonize advocates of the rule of law.

That is the mentality that has allowed Hough and Moss to engage in this profound assault on the Judicial Character, to violate laws at will. Our political and media elite have acquiesced to all of this when they weren't cheering it all on. Those who object to it, who argue that these abuses of Judicial Power are wrong and that we cannot tolerate deliberate lawbreaking by public officials any longer are being intimidated, threaten with being prosecuted on a trumped up charge, jailed or even worse.

But, hear this. Voices are being heard, secret alliances have formed and are taking action on the Rogue Few!

Smoke and Mirrors - Gilmer County Style

Glenville Police Chief who most people will soon be calling, Chief John âPanokeoâ Moss is under investigation by members of the Secret Seven. The Circuit Court of Gilmer County has finally released Grand Jury Transcripts to Defendantâs attorney which gives evidence that Chief John Panokeo Moss intentionally and willfully gave perjured testimony to the Grand Jury while being questioned by Gilmer County Prosecuting Attorney Mr. Gerry B. Hough.

For readers who may have just tuned in, the Defense requested back in April for Gerry Hough to turn over transcripts or a copy of the tape recording of the preliminary hearing where Defense claims would show Chief John Panokeo Moss gave false and misleading testimony which caused the presiding Magistrate to find probable cause and send the case for Grand Jury consideration. However, Gerry Hough reported that any and all copies of the preliminary hearing was missing from the Court File. Poof!! Itâs all gone folks, magic one might say, but folks who are in the know believe it is a classic move by the âSmoke and Mirrorsâ guy, Mr. Gerry Hough.

Well folks, Chief John Panokeo Moss gave his perjured testimony at the preliminary hearing back in January and thanks to âSmoke and Mirrorsâ all evidence of perjury committed by Chief John Panokeo Moss magically disappeared.

But hold on folks, apparently âSmoke and Mirrorsâ was unable to use magic to make Gilmer County Grand Jury transcripts disappear. A Gilmer County Circuit Court Judge granted a defense motion for a copy of the Grand Jury Testimony of Chief John Panokeo Moss. Upon review of the Grand Jury Transcripts it is clear that Gerry Hough asked similar questions to Chief John Ponokeyo Moss as he did at the preliminary hearing and Chief John Panokeo Moss gave further and additional perjured testimony to the Gilmer County Grand Jury and pursuant to this perjured testimony, Gerry Hough secured a three count indictment.

I guess I typed the forgoing information to get at this point, and the point is; How in the âheckâ does Gerry Hough and Chief John Panokeo Moss expect to get away with all the lies and hogwash. No, Noâ¦ not even in Crooked County gentlemen, not even if you surround yourself with all the Crooked County Crooks in Crooked County. Why do I say that, because Crooked County has been found out!!! (Thankâs Calpatty Press) It is no longer a secret in Crooked County that some officials in Crooked County are indeed Crooks. There are witnesses and hard evidence that will prove Chief John Panokeo Moss knowingly and willingly gave perjured testimony to the Grand Jury of Gilmer County on the 4th day of March, 2008. And that Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury are some of the facts of this case.

Oh by the way, Mr. Gerry Hough made a very smart move when he removed Trooper Doug Starcher from the Stateâs Witness List. Yes, smart move but no cigar, Defense has issued a subpoena for Trooper Doug Starcher who witnesses say fabricated false statements from both Dilgard brothers, one of which a state investigator has unraveled. Again Mr. Gerry Hough was smart in trying to eliminate the known Rogue element by removing Trooper Doug Starcher from the stateâs witness list. But come on Gerry, the facts that Trooper Starcher was involved can't be removed from record. As the record shows, Grantsville man Todd Smith went to Trooper Starcher with a story he bought stolen tools from J. Dilgard and then Starcher found out three other people also bought stolen items from J. Dilgard and one was named Richards. With this information in hand it is evident Trooper Starcher fabricated the story into a criminal case against Richards, yes me.

After working the case for four days and fabricating a story with J. Dilgard, Trooper Starcher than called his buddy Chief John Panokeo Moss down from Crooked County and that Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury was when the Calhoun Logon of Conspiracy started running over from all the added crap from up the river at Crooked County.

Another note: This case was set for Trial a few times now, but a few months ago Gerry Hough stated finger prints were accidentally not sent to the lab. Well, those finger prints were then sent and results came back with no match to mine. Well, with trial time coming up on October 1st, Mr. Hough once again started shouting a need for a continuance. The Trial date is now set for December 9th, 2008.

Rule of law is the corner stone of a civilized society. If judges, prosecutors and police officers are thugs and donât abide by procedures set forth by policy and rules of law.... civility will be replaced by anarchy.

The downfall of the Judicial System in Calhoun County was brought about by thugs like Ronald James Gordon Sr. It also seems that most certainly past and present members of the Grantsville West Virginia State Police along with Calhounâs ex-prosecuting attorney whom I believe that he, Mr. Matthew Jason Minney assisted the local rogue green shirts in fabricating or falsifying evidence in criminal cases, are men who ruined the words of TRUST and CONFIDENCE which must be associated with a Judicial System.

Trust and Confidence must be restored within the Judicial System in Calhoun County. The new prosecuting attorney has her work cut out. But, I believe she is honest and she can clean up the corruption which has plagued Calhoun for several years.

Gilmer Countyâs Judicial System has been found out. Leading the gang of corruption in Gilmer County is none other than Prosecuting Attorney Gerry Hough, who it seems is coaching and covering for cops with long lists of misconduct on their records.

Time and time again, citizens have witnesses Gerry Hough failing to prosecute rogue cops who have clearly broken the law. And in other cases, Gerry Hough has charged innocence citizens with crimes in attempts to diminish their credibility as these citizens are standing up against Houghâs corruption machine. Hough is in hopes that by charging individuals with crimes he can save himself and other wrongdoers in his corruption gang.

Houghâs plan to silence the voices who have shed light on the Corruption Ring in Gilmer County is to no avail. The voices are getting louder and are being joined by others in the region. Hough himself could have saved the TRUST and CONFIDENCE in the Gilmer County Judicial System but he sided with rogue officials which has sent Trust and Confidence in downward spin.

Information Wanted â Grantsville State Police Misconduct

As many of you have been reading in other news outlets there seems to be a pattern of Grantsville State Police Officers unjustly seizing property from individuals and not returning the same. Most of the time the State Police are non-responsive or claiming the property has been destroyed. There are also rumorsâ that the State Police themselves have stolen guns and cash from several criminal cases.

Here are a few âFACTSâ to add to the list of non returned property seized by the Grantsville State Police.

The Grantsville State Police (Trooper Jeffery B. Hunt) has been non-responsive in returning property belonging to John M. Richards such as; $783.00 in cash along with a brown wallet and social security card. This property has been proven to have been unjustly seized from Richards on August 2, 2005. Just recently a private investigator asked Grantsville State Police Commander, Trooper Jeff Skidmore about the $783.00 that was never returned to John Richards. Trooper Skidmore told the investigator that there was no money. A contrary statement as Richardsâs attorney has documentation that Trooper Jeff Hunt seized the money from Richards on August 2, 2005.

The Grantsville State Police (ex-Trooper, Sgt. Darrin Campbell, Trooper Jeffery B. Hunt and Trooper Jeff Skidmore) have unjustly refused to return a Lawn Mower that again was unjustly seized from the rental property of Morris Richards. The Lawn Mower is a Cub Cadet Brand, Yellow in color. Word has it that Trooper Jeff Hunt is using this Lawn Mower to mow his own lawn. All documentation and receipts regarding this Lawn Mower was provided to Matt Minney and the Grantsville State Police by attorney Shannon Baldwin. According to Attorney Baldwin Matt Minney gave the ok to return the lawn mower, but the Grantsville State Police have never returned the property.

Pursuant to a recent investigation regarding the Grantsville State Police there is other similar information that has surfaced regarding the Grantsville State Police not returning property and allegedly seizing property for harassment purposes or certain officers wanted the property for themselves? Therefore, we at The Lone Meth Ranger Newsletter are asking once again for your help in obtaining information regarding the âProperty Snatching Grantsville State Policeâ.

Here we go againâ¦ Evidence in the John Manis Richards case in Gilmer County is missing. Seems a Tape Recording of the preliminary hearing has come up missing. Richards attorney had requested a copy of the Tape in order to prove Glenville Police Chief has a credibility problem. A credibility problem which in all likelihood would have landed perjury charges against Chief Moss. But, poof the Taped Testimony of Glenville Police Chief, John W. Moss is gone, missing from the Gilmer County Circuit Court Case File.

Richards attorney, Mr. Kevin W. Hughart was informed by the Gilmer County Magistrate Clerk and the Gilmer County Circuit Clerk, that the audio tape from the preliminary hearing is missing. It was from this audio tape that Richardsâs attorney was going to prove that Chief Moss gave the perjured testimony.

An investigator for Richards has turned up several witnesses that claim police tried to forced or coerce untrue statements against Richards. There is evidence that indicates police fabricated and misrepresented evidence associated with the case. Misconduct on the part of Chief Moss and Grantsville Trooper Doug Starcher is being reviewed.

The State Investigator working on the case has stated that he has turned up no evidence that links Richards with any crime other than Richards may have bought Metal Roofing from an individual who was selling stolen items to several people in the area.
