The following came to me full-blown this afternoon; another in my series of cartoons which I don't bother drawing, but take the easy way out and let your mind make your own image...

A Thought Cartoon!

Picture a very wealthy, extremely well-dressed business-person, (non-specific gender, perhaps a Stockbroker, perhaps a Damned Lobbyist); money careening through (hir pockets, hair, and trailing behind; obviously and thoroughly and ostentatiously obnoxious; holding a cup, overflowing with additional funds, with huge gems prominent on hir hands.

Picture those around and in the background, the many, the workers, the passers-by and the multitude are in various stages of disrepute, hunger, sickness and death.

Picture this obese fatcat with at least one huge ear, which (s)he is cupping toward the viewer, as if receiving faint sounds from afar, (however painfully obvious it is, that the dreaded White House, the ineffectual Congress, and the damned K Street Lobbyists are in the background!).

The other corpulent hand is holding a sign, (which, presumably, generates hir funding), which says, simply:

"Will Work For Tips"
