This is the same as my prediction and current entry into my Nephew Jay's contest to predict the outcome of this momentous election.

After all, there is the precedent in 2000, (whether it's written into the Constitution or not).

(Note to next Congress: please, PLEASE fix our federal election process. Get rid of the Electoral College, standardize (federal) voting in every state, and make it a law that states must re-vote rather than have the Supreme Court make the final vote over the will of The People!)
