For any of you who like Science Fiction with the emphasis on Science, or what I call "Hard-Core" SF, I am just finishing a wonderful book by Greg Egan called "Diaspora".

This was written in 1997, so I'm thinking Peter probably read this one, he would have loved it. (In fact, I found this book, along with a few others in a box from the attic, which had not been opened for many years, so it is possible I got this from him.)

Most of the plotline of this book takes place hundreds and thousands of human-years from now, mostly in the Solar System, and closer stars.

Greg explores advanced scientific theories, extra-dimensional control of miniature black holes, the physics of neutron stars, robotics, nanotech and on and on. What a treat!

Mr. Egan, I very much appreciate the thought and work that went into this book, and enjoyed every page. Thank you!
