Where did February go?
Previous Entry :: Next Entry

Mood:
Contemplative

Okay, this month went by way too fast. I'm sitting here counting the miniutes until I get to log out of phones and strat getting home, browsing some sites, checking email, the like, and realize that I have not had a journal entry at all this month. Poor Houdini, Bit and Byte haven't had much of a chance to put entries into their journals either, but should have some computer time to write. They're my new creative writing activity, when I have time, which is scarce these days.

And the clock strikes 7. And I have a little time before trekking off to the bus stop. Oh happy day. Friday. Love Fridays. Especially payday Fridays. Although I have so much stuff that I am going to try to do tonight, including finishing three seperate gift projects for four people. The two which have a time crunch may not be completed on time but I really cannot expect weddings to be re-scheduled or babies to be delayed on account of me not having time to finish the appropriate gifts.

Time. Where does the time go. Wasn't Monday just a little while ago? Where do my weeks go? Do turtles have a sense of time? (Sorry, got sidetracked, turtles finished their food and are glaring at me as if to say DUDE! You're not LEAVING are you? You just got here!) Work has been very busy, and stressful. I have clients who want me fired and clients who want to sue the company because we dare to ask them to pay some of their 7 delinquent months of hosting fees. Some client's love me, some think I'm evel. I just work here people.

So the role play club that I belonged to fell apart with the game publishing company picking up the peices in hopes of continuing continuity and keeping members interested. Who knows how things will go, but so far the game is just that, the game. I've barely had enough time to be an effective storyteller, let alone keep up with the gossip and politics of the company change.

Oh, and if you saw me on the news Tuesday, I promise you, I am not leading a big cult of vampires, nor do I really look that pale and goth freaky looking normally at games. That was some really bad footage, plain and simple. I love the media, it's so truthful. We're just gamers, just normal people. :)

So I've also realized that I haven't touched my novel for like 4 months now. *sigh*

Anyways, gotta head out to the bus. can't wait till tomorrow. I get to see a bunch of people that I haven't seen in a very long time. I get to see Jenn, some other people who I used to work with until the takeover and merging of companies into a new entity. It's going to be cool. :)

So maybe among all of the things I have set my mind to do tinight and tomorrow morning before teh party, I'll fit in a few of those tests that Coyote has stacked up.

And I never could get the hang of Thursdays either. :)

One last note, I just got the Special Edition of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It's quite possibly one of my coolest DVDs I own.
