Ya know, I've determined that the reason my journal entries have been few and far between is mostly due to the fact that when I'm feeling inspired to write, or when I think if something interesting to say, I am not by a computer, and when I am in front of one, .ideas and insight get muddled with work, email and the like. I have found that, now that I have my new toy, I can do what I am doing now, which is write my journal entry while still fresh in my mind on my PDA while on the bus. It's early enough in the day to where I have not yet become bombarded with email and employees wanting my attention. So, on to my journal.

I feel obligate to say that Maxim magazine saved my sister's life. This and other magazines of it's kind tend to get a bad rap. It is because of an article on how to survive a blowout when exceeding 80 mph, front tire shredded, riding rim and in the fast lane that she was able to stay calm and survive such an ordeal. And my sister is NOT a stay calm type of driver. The tow guy was stunned at her driving skills, especially after seeing the scrapes and shreds on the road.

Now, for a review of my weekend.

I went to my friend Jason's wedding an it was very awesome. And to think this was the "band geek" who seemed destined to never get the girl. I got some nice pictures and was able to spend some time with a friend that I've practically known all my life. Sunday I visited faire site and watched rehearsals and workshops. I'm really going to miss working Ren Faire this year, but there is no way I would be able to pull it off with my new job responsibilities and no car yet. I watched X-Files. There are 4 episodes of X-Files left which I guess is a good thing, the series is getting pretty tired and has lodst a lot of fan base. Sunday they killed the Lone Gunmen. I was pretty surprised that they did so and chose to do it before the grand finally, but for what started as comic relief allies, I think they did them justice. Turtles are not very photogenic, which, according to Doug, is probably why there are no turtle supermodels. I was trying to get some shots of them all day, but it just wasn't working out. They don't pose, and are skittish.
No sign of earth day on Monday. Not one tree hugger to be seem. Earth Day used to be a much bigger deal when I was younger, and is now practically non existent. It was always a silly concept to me anyways. People who are concerned will do something about it. Those who don't care will continue not to care. Oh, and on a side note, I read this fun article - http://207.67.219.101/objective/propaganda.html
