Mood:
Contemplative

Wow, May 22, the last journal entry in this thing. Where does the time go?

Well everyone, I'm still alive for starters. I'm currently waiting for the paint to dry on the portrait that I am currently painting so I can add more detail without the colors mixing together and getting all muddled. Just as the paint muddles, so does my recap of the past few months, of which I hope to share much of in this entry. Am currently dumping out tons of crap in my hotmail mail box (spam bombed again, gee I hate Hotmail) and catching up on the journals that I have been neglecting to read , and realized that noone has heard from me for a very long time. Everyone seems to be doing well. Kenny's getting along with life just fine, and Jenn is writing up a storm. (Go Jenn!)

So, to catch you all up on my last few months, I've been working a WHOLE LOT. We're talking often times 12 hour days working on a server migration project that went over schedule by an entire month. *sigh* It's coming to a close though, only a few servers remained in need of migration as of Friday, and we're pulling plugs tomorrow.

Aside from work, I've been Live Action gaming, which has had it's ups and downs. I must say that currently, the most interesting of the two games I play is werewolf, although I've brought in a new character for vampire (even though I still have the one I've been playing since 97) so things might get interesting again with her.

I moved in June, down the hall, in with my boyfriend. I must say, I was really nervous about making the move, but it's worked out really nice. I pretty much took over his place though, as I do have a LOT of stuff. I look at it all and wonder how I fit it into my little place down the hall at all. No real problems yet, as opposed to the many horror stories that I've heard of couples moving in together an promptly having major issues. It's much nicer sharing a two bedroom than having a studio apartment. Although it was nice having my own place it was small and it was often too quiet. I have come to the realization that I'm the slob of the two of us. :) It's been fun though.

Let's see, what else... Went to Vegas. Many nights of kareoke (and many nights of staying home from kareoke due to early mornings at work. Yucky. I really don't like having to wake up over an hour (4:30) before the sun has to wake up) We've been spending a lot of time with our friend from the U.K. I've seen a LOT of movies. Many good ones, many OK, a few bombs. There's just something that I dig about going to a movie as opposed to renting one. It's an added expense that I'll happily work with (although going to the drive in for 6 bucks a person for a double feature (and a repeat of the first one on some nights) beats Blockbuster.

I've read several interesting books, but not as much as I would like to be reading. I've been sketching, currently am designing two tatoos for two different friends, and have begun painting again.

Well, this seems to be a fairly substantial entry. Of course, it doesnt make up for the slacking off that I have done for a few months now in this one. Hasta la bye bye and such. I'll think of more stuff that I havn't fill y'all in on, but it will have to be later. My portrait awaits!
