So people got laid off today. It is obviously something that really sucks. It makes some people feel like they're job is a bit more solid, and some people feel like their job is also about to topple. For me... well, this company has been so unpredictable I haven't the foggiest idea what's going to happen from one day to the next, regardless of who gets cut.

What really, REALLY burns me is when I get a random IM from someone in the company, not in this office with an eager "Who got whacked?"

Now THATS a way with dealing with life's little uncertainties, make light of someone else's major life upset. Whatever makes you feel better, idiot.

Didn't you grow up with a few lessons in tact and general consideration?
