Getting settled into my new, big, office. It's nice. There's a big window, lots of space, my own printer/fax, and JT even left a plant/treelike thing in here. Of course, he also left enough crumbs in his desk drawers that you make a whole other cookie, and tons of cable and other stuff that I had to move out of here.

I really like what we decided to do with the office. Everyone is in the same general area now. Of course, the techs still like it fairly dark, but my office and Bryan's cubicle have a lot of light coming from them. I think everyone likes their new spots, and hopefully, they clean them up before tomorrow, as my boss from Boston will be visiting us.

Not sure exactly how I feel about him coming out. This will be his first visit ever since I started working for him, and I don't even know if he knows what I look like. I think his impression of me so far has been good. I don't think that will change unless my staff decides to misbehave or make me look bad. I don't think that will happen though. It would have been nice if he came out at least once towards the beginning of me being a manager but oh well, ya take what you can get.

Saw Abandoned last night. Fairly impressed with new directors these days and their experimental ways of disjointed storytelling. It was interesting.

My werewolf LARP has gotten really interesting. This is good and bad. Good, because there have been times where it was getting boring and not involving my character very much. Bad, because I was hoping that if things kept slow, I could kind of sneak out of it for a bit and spend time on other things. This is hard to do when things get interesting, but the game has been fairly time consuming and I've got so much other stuff that I've been wanting to do.

Erik starts training for his new job Friday. It sounds like an OK gig. It's 40 hours of work, seems like fun (working at casinos), but the only downside is that the hours are from 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM. He's a late night person, often stays up late, and likes nighttime better. Not a big morning person. It's really great hours for him. Of course, this means that the times I'm home, he's at work, and vise versa. I'll be waking up to start my day right when he gets home it looks like. I hope it works out though, I think we can make it work out without too much stress.

Well, gotta go work on my weekly report now that I'm all settled in.
