So, I was here, at work, really frickin early... And why you may ask? Furniture...

Freakin furniture guy wanted to be here way before 8 to beat traffic. Can you believe it?

So, seeing that I've already gotten through the majority of my email I figured that I would make a few notes in here. First off, some randomness brought to my inbox this morning. I've remained on an email list started when I worked at USC computing. Sometimes there's cool stuff that comes through it, sometimes it's just crap, or stuff that doesn't amuse me because I'm not working there any more so am lost on the inside jokes. This morning, there were a few emails on it that amused me. The main one was in response to a tech case for a server and some equiptment, which is now being threatened to be "roof tested" from a tall campus building. They're gathering a mob for this roof test apparently, at least in spirit.

Definition of roof test: Your once good equiptment (be it desktop PC, VCR, stereo, etc.) has ruined it's last tape, eaten it's last cassette, gurgled it's last tune, or you happened to let the smoke out of the poor sucker (you shouldn't let the smoke out of your PC btw). Your frustration of it's failure, mixed with your desire to send it off in it's own glorious blaze of glory, brings out the desire accelerate that baby 9.8 m/sec2 squared from a nice vantage point.

Next cool thing was that I heard from an old friend from highschool that I have not seen since I invited him to my graduation in 96. Cooler than most, was sometimes a wall flower, and I managed to track him down in an unusual manner. I was looking up live theatre, and came across valleytheatre.com. They have some productions coming up, and just did a production of The Rocky Horror Show (which I saw and loved on Broadway). I was checking out the photo gallery that they had and... OMG, the star of their show, Frank n furter, was our SHELDON! I emailed the info email address to see if someone could put me in touch with the cast member and, our wall-flower-gone-diva happens to be the wone who runs the site so emailed me back. It's been like 6 years, so it's cool to get a hold of him.

So, quarter after 8, I get a call, the furniture guy is just now enroute. Still at least a half an hour or so away.

Phooey.

In other news, finally got the crown finished on my tooth. I'm really running out of natural tooth to become problematic at this point, it's all filled or capped practically. But what did I managed to do Sunday night? That's right, I chipped a frickin front tooth. ARGH! It's not a big chip, and that tooth has already been cracked since I skated into the corner of a wall in the 10th grade. Go me!

SO, if you have not yet seen the extended version of Lord of the Rings, you really haven't seen the movie. Well, you may have seen it, but you haven't SEEN it. The extended film is a totally different film. Sure, you need to set aside about 4 hours to watch it, but it was well worth it.

Hmmm... What else? Oh yeah...

Bond... James Bond...

Die Another Day was pretty well done. 20th Bond film, and they STILL manage to do stunts that haven't yet been used in Bond films. Oh, and, Madonna got OLD (she has a cameo). And although the intro song was a little too techno for me (Madonna hasn't realized that she's old yet apparently) the intro itself was really great. Quite unique, very Bond. But that's all I'm saying.

3 days till Thanksgiving, one week till Cyndi Lauper and Cher concert, and I need to figure out the exact days I want to take vacation really soon.

Enough journal, need to feed turtles and get to workin.
