Enjoy the ride.

I had a great visit with my brother and sister-in-law Kenny and
Jenn this weekend! They came all the way up here from LA. I had so much fun visiting with them. Having them around was like having a piece of home again.

They got to see the nursery and ride the great big Rocking Horse :-) We had a great dinner at Savoury's and afterward watched Two Towers! The next day, we took a walk down to the lake where we encountered the first snakes I've seen since living up here. Jenn posted some great pictures of them on her journal. The snakes were quite ambivalent to our presence. They didn't lunge or hiss at us. They just let us move along. Makes me feel a little more comfortable about encounterring them in the future.

I was so grateful they came all this way! I am not supposed to travel that far now as the impending day approaches.

Tami was going to bring the kids up and visit next week! We won't be able to unfortunatley, but I can't wait to see them when we do.

Enjoy the ride. Currently, I live in a small 'crossroad' town in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I'm raising a wonderful son, cultivating a promissing career in Real Estate and enjoying every day! I'm involved in many community activities, charitable organizations and do LOTS of Yoga! Life is a great ride. Things change, I adapt and follow the 'road' with love and humility.
