Enjoy the ride.

Currently, I live in a small 'crossroad' town in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I'm raising a wonderful son, cultivating a promissing career in Real Estate and enjoying every day! I'm involved in many community activities, charitable organizations and do LOTS of Yoga! Life is a great ride. Things change, I adapt and follow the 'road' with love and humility. • Life Anew

Allex is asleep. I've had an amazing day. I'm in my warm and cozy home, typing on my laptop at my desk, in my bedroom, with lights off, so not to disturb my sleeping angel in the next room.

Life is comfortable now - finally - after 4 years. You simply cannot rush these things! I've read through my entire journal and feel thankful to have it. I'm able to reflect on my attitude, then and now. I see what I've changed and how.

Allex is in Preschool 3 days a week. I drop him off at 8am, work for a few hours, then pick him up at Noon. We have lunch together before the babysitter comes for the afternoon. It's a precious routine.

He is growing well. Sturdy and strong. Our home is secure and full of charm. We've made many friends, both near and far. For now - we rest in country arms - though we may yet venture the world abroad. I've traveled some. And have wet my appetite - if I want him to be as I've planned, I must incorporate the wind, snow and sand.

At work, I'm currently tied for 2nd in all Real Estate sales in the County! Normally, my competitive spirit would not settle for less than 1st place. However, now I see that it would be a sacrifice for my son. So, I can wait for that prize until he is past his first most impressionable 5 years.

Because of this, I am damn proud to be a successful attentive mother as well as a pretty darn successful Real Estate professional. Things will only get better and better from here!

Here's looking forward to more and better things I'm sure will be part of our future. We have only begun. Life is anew. Finally.
